My name is Eugenia Zhang, and I’ll be representing my home state of Connecticut at Miss Earth USA 2023. I’m a recent graduate from the University of California, Berkeley, where I studied Economics, Political Science, and Computer Science, and also earned a certificate in Entrepreneurship and Technology.
My platform will highlight two causes close to my heart: sustainable fashion and marine conservation. Growing up by the water, I’ve always felt connected to the marine environment; meanwhile, as a model, fashion is an integral part of my work and day-to-day life, and sustainable fashion created in an ethical work environment has become my way to advocate daily for the earth.
I am the founder of a sustainable fashion brand, a volunteer scuba diver for non-profits focused on coral restoration, invasive species control, and debris removal, and ambassador for Remake to turn fashion into a force for good.
I am honoured to join Miss Earth USA, an organisation committed to environmental awareness and advocacy, and to be part of this group of women who have dedicated themselves to serve as #BeautiesforaCause. In the face of the rapidly shifting landscape of climate change, it’s crucial for our generation to integrate changes, both big and small, into our lives to protect our environment. I’m continuously learning how to improve my efforts, and hope to inspire others along the way. I believe in progress over perfection, recognising that consistent efforts build momentum and collective action amplifies our individual impact, and would greatly appreciate your support - a donation of any size is tax-deductible and contributes to the mission of Miss Earth USA.

The charitable organization of "B4ACUSA" provides opportunities for advocacy, education and recognition for women and girls who want to positively impact our planet. Our mission is to support environmental preservation while empowering female activists.
Major mission projects are carried out in a variety of locations surrounding the United States and beyond, while also enabling program Ambassadors to conduct individualized projects in their communities. B4ACUSA includes three distinct initiatives: Grants/Scholarships, "Still She Rose" Wellness Program, and We Clean Trails.
