July 6th James White was diagnosed with Guillian-Barre and has been treated, and now rehabbing. Recuperation and physical therapy will take at least another three or four months. He may not be able to work during that time so James needs financial assistance. Medical expenses out of pocket $7,500 and lost wages $3000.
For over 25 years James has opened his home to care for 96 boys in foster care and has adopted nine. He is an Aide - Aide-behavior program at Liberty Hill High School.
Since 2004 boys in James's care have been campers at Camp Wilderness Ridge (CWR). In addition many summers he has served CWR as the Camp Nurse for all the summer camp sessions.
