Our neighborhood children are walking to school without proper signage, causing grave concern for their safety when drivers are distracted, and reckless in the area.
The money will be used solely to purchase crosswalk signs, because there is a clear correlation between their presence and slower drivers.
Update (4/8):
Y’all are amazing, we have been able to purchase a 40” sign that rebounds if and when hit.
I am going to keep the donations open so we can hopefully purchase a second sign to increase safety to kids and visibility to drivers.
