What is a co-managed fundraising campaign on *spotfund?

*spotfund's co-management fundraising tool lets trusted friends, families, or colleagues work together on one shared fundraiser. Instead of one person handling everything, you can invite trusted co-managers (co-organizers) to help manage, update, and promote the campaign—helping you raise more, faster. Put differently, co-management means that one person doesn’t have to handle everything — some can post updates, some can post on social media, etc.

What is the difference between *spotfund's Co-Management (collaborative) feature and Team (Group) fundraising feature?

Co-Management is for a small group of people working together on one shared fundraiser. Everyone invited can help manage, edit, and promote that single campaign, making it easy to collaborate on one project. Team Fundraising, on the other hand, lets many people raise money for the same cause through their own individual fundraisers. Each person’s campaign contributes to a shared team goal, and all of the campaigns are displayed together on a team page — for example: AACC Member College Food Pantries — so supporters can see everyone’s efforts in one place. Both Co-Management and Team Fundraising can be used for one-time campaigns or ongoing fundraising efforts.

How do I invite others to join my fundraising campaign?

You can invite others to be co-managers of your fundraiser campaign via your dashboard. You can invite new collaborators at any time, even after donations have started coming in. To invite a co-manager, click “Manage Collaborators” to send them an invitation. Invitations are sent by email, and joining takes just a few steps. Once they accept, each collaborator gets a simple, easy-to-use dashboard with clear buttons and instructions. Each collaborator creates their own free account so they can log in safely, access the dashboard, and help manage the fundraiser—without sharing your login.

Can I set individual goals or roles for each team member?

Yes, you can assign personal goals to each team member, allowing you to track individual progress. This approach boosts accountability and keeps everyone motivated

What analytics are available to organizers?

Organizers get a dashboard showing individual team member contributions, shares, and new donors. *spotfund also includes advanced conversion metrics, like average donation size, to give deeper insights into campaign performance.

I invited someone to join my fundraising campaign but they never received the invitation. Do I need to create a new invitation?

No, you don’t need to create a new invitation. You can resend the same invitation from your dashboard.

What can co-managers do once they’re added?

Co-managers can share the fundraiser, post updates, track donations, and help promote the campaign. You decide their access level, so you stay in control of what they can edit. *spotfund uses role-based access, so you choose who can edit, who can view, and who can only help with sharing. This helps keep your collaborators motivated, aligned, and informed. Each c0-manager gets their own login access, so nothing is tied to a single account. They can share the campaign, post updates, and see donations and progress in real time—keeping everyone informed, involved, and motivated. Bonus tip: Ask your co-managers to share the fundraiser through their own networks—on social media, by text, or by email—to reach more potential donors and grow support faster.

How do I remove someone after inviting them to join my fundraising campaign?

You can manage all of your collaborators on your fundraising campaign via your dashboard. Click “Manage Collaborators” to remove them from your campaign.

What if one of my co-managers loses their login or forgets their password?

They can reset their password directly from the login page—no need for you to manage it or resend anything.

How many people can co-manage my fundraiser?

There’s no strict limit. You can invite as many parents, teammates, friends, or supporters as you need to help spread the word.

Why did *spotfund add the co-management (collaborative) fundraising tool?

We added a co-management fundraising tool because real communities fundraise together, and they needed a tool that made that collaboration seamless. Parents and organizers told us they wanted to be able to give campaign management access to multiple people, or to allow beneficiaries to post updates and send thank you notes.. So we built role-based access, shared dashboards, and easy invitations that let everyone help without security risks. The result? Faster growth, broader reach, more transparency, and far less stress on one person.Co-managed fundraising lets communities raise money the way they actually operate—in partnership, not alone.

How do *spotfund's team fundraisers differ from GoFundMe’s?

*spotfund streamlines the invitation process and offers unlimited team members with personalized links. Unlike GoFundMe, which limits customization, *spotfund provides advanced analytics and a mobile-first platform for easy access.
