If you're raising funds on behalf of someone else, adding them as a beneficiary ensures they can access the money directly and securely. As the organizer, you can monitor all donation activity, but you won’t have access to the beneficiary’s bank information. Beneficiaries can set up bank transfers, but can’t view or edit the details of the campaign itself.

How do I invite a beneficiary to my fundraiser to directly receive funds?

To add a beneficiary, go to your fundraiser settings and open the “Add Beneficiary” section. Enter the beneficiary’s name and email, then save your changes. The beneficiary will receive an invitation to connect their financial information, ensuring that donations go directly to them. *spotfund handles all transactions safely and securely. You’ll need the beneficiary’s name along with either a verified email, organization details, or payout account information, depending on whether the beneficiary is an individual or an organization. By default, each fundraiser can have one primary beneficiary.
