My mother has late-final stage Dementia, she cannot stand nor walk. Every parent who only has one child will appreciate what I am going through. My mother has taken care of me all her life and she has been always kind to me. It is now my turn to take care of her I am the only child with no family to help. My mother is my last parent. It is only her and I. I will never put my mother into a nursing home as she has cared for me all her life and now it's my turn to take care of her. I wish there was a cure or treatment for Dementia; but as we all know, there is none. The doctor said the medication will only help her about 20% but the side effects far outweigh the benefits. I have stayed home with her for over 3 year, to provide proper care. We have 1 Homecare that visits 3 times a day at 1 hour each. It's not sufficient and I am only allotted a max number of hours. It is heart breaking and very depressing to see my mother from being a vibrant woman to now with late-final stage Dementia. I have spent my savings to be at home with her and give her the same love that she gave me all her life. It is not easy for me to ask for donations; but I am at a point where I have no choice. We need your help to achieve our goal to cover for more Homecare and Funeral Expenses. Any amount would be accepted with great appreciation. With your kindness, empathy and generosity, I will provide receipts for anyone wishing to see it by request. Please help me be able to help my mother. And from the bottom of my heart, I would like to thank in advance to all those who are able to donate no matter the amount. Every dollar donated will help us reach our goal. Sincerely, Jim.
