Derek and I have been together since high school, he still remembers what I wore when we first met.  He's an amazing software developer, creative writer, and artist. 

In 2023, he was diagnosed with stage 4 colo-rectal cancer at the age of 35.  In 2025, Derek went through a colon resection surgery and had post-surgery complications.  Despite successful remission, his cancer has relapsed requiring a colostomy. 

He has decades ahead of him and can beat cancer if he receives further treatment.  Our retirement funds are gone and we only have a month of being able to live in our home.  Please help us spend the rest of our lives together in a stable environment.  I don't want to know what life will be like without him.
