Dear Friends and Family,

My freshman year of high school I had the opportunity to go on my first short term mission trip. From there I discovered a love for missions and since then I’ve had the honor of going to many parts of the United States, Mexico and to the Dominican Republic. My favorite part of missions is experiencing other cultures and encouraging others by sharing the love of Jesus.

Last Fall, while traveling Europe, I was blessed to meet a group of other Americans that were traveling in Italy. We talked for hours into the night about life and our testimonies. Then I discovered they were missionaries from South Carolina. It was clearly a God thing that we met that night. A few weeks later, I was contacted by one of the Americans I met and was asked if I’d be interested in joining their missions team on their next mission to South Africa. After much prayer I’ve decided to join them this September. We leave August 30th and will travel for about two weeks ministering to the people of South Africa, Botswana, Zambia and Namibia.

I will be partnering with North Palm Church of Charleston, SC and Dr. David McDonald Ministries. We will be spending time with people of the communities sharing the hope of Jesus and of course there will be some soccer involved! It will be very hot and our days will be long so it will be tough, but I am confident God wants me to be there. I know that He will provide all our needs while we are there.

I would be honored if you could please pray for me as I prepare for the trip and while we are there as well. I am thrilled to see what God has in store. Please pray for spiritual growth, financial support, a continual missionary heart, good health and safety. 

The cost of this mission trip is $4500. If you are able, I would appreciate any contribution you can make toward this trip. The initial payment of $1,700 is due on July 14th and the remainder by August 1st.
