We just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone for their generous donations and to update you. We transferred the first payout of $1052.21 to the National Day Laborer Organizing Network’s Immigrant Fire Relief Fund.
Here is the information from their website: Our Pasadena Community Job Center, at 500 N. Lake Avenue, is serving as a relief hub for Pasadena and Altadena, providing temporary shelter, food, water, and emergency kits. Every morning, truck crews from our Volunteer Fire Relief Brigade head out to clear fallen trees and debris from streets and sidewalks. Volunteers load up cars with water, food, diapers, clothing and other necessities. The need is great – lines can be long and people are tired and stressed. But kindness is everywhere. But we need your help. We have had a flood of donations but the flow is uneven – some supplies we have a lot of, but other things we always urgently need.

Our next goal is to raise an additional $1000 to send to the Anti-Recidivism Coalition's Firefighter Fund.
Thank you again for your care for our neighbors and members of our community ❤️🩹
