Hi everyone! We have an update. We were able to raise an additional $697.16 after fees. We have split that between two recipients— Pasadena for All (local mutual aid group) and a community member who has not been able to work due to ICE kidnappings. Thank you for your continued support!!! Stay safe and take care of each other

Hello! We are excited to share that we have raised another $1000+ for our community. We had previously expressed a plan to raise money for the Fire Poppy Project, however their fundraising campaign is currently paused. Aswe all know, many of our community members whose ability to work was impacted by the fires early this year are now unable to work once again for fear of being kidnapped by ICE. For this reason, we are donating this collection to Echo Park Mutual Aid in support of street vendors who are looking to stay safe while also meet their basic needs (rent, groceries, etc).

Thank you so much for your ongoing support for our neighbors. We love you LA! 🫶🏼

We have great news! With your support we were able to donate $1000.49 to the Anti-Recidivism Coalition’s Firefighter Fund. Our next goal is to raise $1000 for the Eaton Fire Poppy Project for renters. Thank you all for your support 🌹🌹🌹

We just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone for their generous donations and to update you. We transferred the first payout of $1052.21 to the National Day Laborer Organizing Network’s Immigrant Fire Relief Fund.

Here is the information from their website: Our Pasadena Community Job Center, at 500 N. Lake Avenue, is serving as a relief hub for Pasadena and Altadena, providing temporary shelter, food, water, and emergency kits. Every morning, truck crews from our Volunteer Fire Relief Brigade head out to clear fallen trees and  debris from streets and sidewalks. Volunteers load up cars with water, food, diapers, clothing and other necessities. The need is great – lines can be long and people are tired and stressed. But kindness is everywhere. But we need your help. We have had a flood of donations but the flow is uneven – some supplies we have a lot of, but other things we always urgently need.

Our next goal is to raise an additional $1000 to send to the Anti-Recidivism Coalition's Firefighter Fund.

Thank you again for your care for our neighbors and members of our community ❤️‍🩹
