On Monday July 29, 2024, the Nixon fire out in the city of Aguanga, Ca severely burned our 5 acre property. My husband Jose Meza earlier that day was out on the property cleaning up and loaded his heavy duty work trailer with appliances that we had planned to bring to our current home. Jose not only lost his work trailer but all the appliance he had loaded on the trailer. Unfortunately we lost 2 rv style little trailers, a large chicken coop, our horse arena, the majority of our native manzanita trees, our orange trees and cactus grove, 2 5,500 storage water tanks, building material and the majority of our fencing. We are thankful and grateful that the firefighters saved our storage container and main structure. We have a lot of clean up to do and since we live in such a rural area with all dirt roads not many company’s will come and deliver a trash container to start clean up. We are grateful for all donations as we try and rebuild our beautiful property. Thank you
