Mental Health is so important especially as we go through different seasons of our lives. There was a season in my life when I smiled on the outside but was barely holding it together on the inside.
After experiencing the heartbreak of pregnancy loss, walking the long, emotional road of fertility treatments, and surviving postpartum preeclampsia, I learned firsthand how vital it is to care for your mental health, not just your physical.
Grief. Anxiety. Fear. Exhaustion. Guilt. I felt them all. But what saved me was allowing myself to feel, to heal, and to seek help. I surrounded myself with support, leaned into therapy and faith, and gave myself permission to rest and recover.
Taking care of your mental health is not a luxury, it’s a necessity. I will always be an advocate for mental health.
Thank you for your love and support!

Still She Rose is a wellness program for leaders, women and teens in the pageant industry. Funded by the B4ACUSA Foundation, wellness program initiatives are open to all pageant community members.
The ROSE is symbolic of the spirit that grows within each of us when proper care and attention is applied.
Together, we can encourage wellness through self care, positive body image, renewed self esteem and affirmation of one's identity beyond pageantry. We aim to engage in a conversation of support, honesty, reflection and awareness, in order to promote wellness as the foundation of the pageant industry.
Because each of us can say, She Struggled; and Still She Rose.
