Dear Friends and Family,

I am a member of the Crockett-Deane Ballet Apprentice Company and I am raising funds to attend the Regional Dance America Pacific Festival in Palo Alto this March. There we will be attending master classes, have an opportunity to perform in a theater, and be seen by members and directors of Professional Dance Companies.

I will also have an opportunity to audition for and receive scholarships for ballet summer intensive programs around the country. In the past, many of our company's members have received many scholarships to top Universities and Colleges as well as top summer intensive programs.

All funds raised will help with the cost of attending the RDA Festival and would appreciate any help at all in pursuing higher levels of accomplishment in dance.

​Formerly known as Crockett-Deane Ballet, Sac Civic Ballet was founded in 1996 as an extension of the Deane Dance Center to give it's beautiful young dancers more performing opportunities.

Sac Civic Ballet is raising money to send the Sac Civic Company, Crockett-Deane Ballet Apprentice Company, and Petite Company members to the Regional Dance America Pacific Festival in Palo Alto this March, where they will attend master classes with top level teachers of many genres, perform in a Theatre, and be seen by Professional Company Directors. They will also have opportunities to audition for and receive large College Scholarships as well as scholarships for Summer Intensives around the country. In the past, our dancers have received many scholarships to top Universities & Colleges as well as to top Summer Intensives.

These festivals inspire dancers to achieve their highest level of accomplishments in dance and dance education.

Sac Civic Ballet continues to promote the art to aspiring dancers of all ages. We believe that each dancer has something special to offer. Sac Civic Ballet conducts classes, rehearsals, and performances to benefit these dancers by the beauty and discipline of Classical Ballet. The heritage of Classical Ballet offers a wonderful expression of human emotions and adventures which allow young artists to fully understand themselves and appreciate their world.
