Fundraising to help raise money for displaced mothers and children who are at the borders of neighboring countries to find refuge.
Because of the Russian invasion on Ukraine, families are scrambling to figure out what to do with their families. Because all men/fathers are prohibited in leaving their country ( ages 18-60 automatically drafted in fighting for their country's independence), they are taking their wives and children to the borders to cross over to another country to find refuge, while they return back to fight.
Borders are inundated with Ukrainians praying to find refuge in their neighbors while this war terrorizes their homes, their country.
In helping with these immediate efforts, we have currently secured housing for 200 displaced mothers and children in Poland. We have about 3 vans traveling from Poland to the Ukrainian border picking up people and bringing them over to their temporary housing. With food it will cost $15/person per day to house them. Hopefully this war will not last forever, and these families will be able to return quickly to their beloved country, and to their husbands who were left behind.
Please help us raise money for this endevour. This is a small feat in the midst of the horror that is going on. So many people need our help, and if we can help a little bit, it will go a long way!
A few days ago, the people of the Ukraine were living a normal life; enjoying birthday parties, preparing lunches and getting their kids ready school; doing things that we in can easily relate to; today the country is a war zone, and the people are disbelief that their lives are in upheaval.
