Hello everyone!

My name is Joe. When Covid struck I lost my job and had to make a complete career shift from healthcare facilities management. I ended up buying a plow and Sub contracting for a big landscaping company south of where I live now with my wife. After the first winter 21-22 I started working full time for the company. I spent the next year and a half learning the industry inside and out. I spent time after work (off the clock) mastering every piece of equipment the company owned. I ended up leaving my position there for a sales and enhancement specialist position at a big landscaping company 40+ miles closer to home in March of 2023. The other reason for the move closer was that my wife tragically lost her younger sister in the middle of February.(she was murdered in her own home) The case is still active and almost a year later we are still waiting to find out what really happened. In May I almost lost my wife. She had to have emergency surgery that lasted over 6 hours and she had to recover in the hospital for 4 days while receiving blood transfusions. Her home recovery time was almost 3 months and I couldn’t continue to do my new job. I love my wife and she needed my care. By the grace of our Lord she is now recovered and doing well. In the end of August I started applying for any job within 50 miles that I have the skill set for. Well over 100 positions to no avail. I refuse to give up! So I started promoting snow plowing and shoveling in my surrounding area. And a miracle happened. With in 5 days of the first storm this year my local church and a few other private homes reached out. I am taking care of the plowing and shoveling for the church for the rest of the year. Here is where my dilemma begins….Finally this week I was offered a decent job at another big landscape company which is my miracle from the Lord, I have a strong back and can do the work. But after having no income for some time and  medical bills for my wife totaling over 40k. We are flat out.  I start the new job March 18th. I am praying that with a little support from other good souls out there I can pull this off! We need about 5 thousand dollars to ensure our mortgage and other bills are covered for the next two months until I have a steady income again.  I want nothing more than to be able to provide for my family and work hard. From the bottom of my heart I will pay it forward once we are caught up. Thank you everyone who chooses to help us!!!
