Hello,
This is a fundraiser started by the family of Jay Roach. Jay was diagnosed with an aggressive form of Liposarcoma on the week his wife passed from Breast cancer in 2023. He underwent an extensive surgery which resulted in multiple hospital stays and additional treatment under a clinical trial. In the last couple months, Jay has spent more time at the James Cancer Center with complications from the original cancer surgery which ultimately landed him under inpatient hospice services. Jay lost his battle on December 19, 2024.
Jay and his family have spent the last couple years traveling between home and Columbus constantly with both his wife’s cancer journey and his own. This has placed a huge financial burden for the family. Everyone that knows Jay, loved him. He was always a hard worker and spent 33 years as an Operations Manager at Lamar advertising. He will be missed greatly.
