I do not know how many people know my story.  I lost my job last year and have been on unemployment.  I have been working side jobs because unemployment has not been enough.

My job did tell me it was temporary but when they called me back, it was right when I had Covid, so they wanted me to get tested.  After my testing came back negative, they told me they had no more slots open at the moment and I should just sit and wait for them to call me back.  And waiting I have.

While waiting I do apply for jobs. Unfortunately, I do have one limitation.  My car is an electric with only a 150-mile range and I do not charge up at home.  So while I did this to save money when I was employed, it is now a hindrance at the distance I can apply to jobs at.  It may not sound bad, like I can take a job that is 50 miles away, with both ways that is a total of 100, no problem.  Well, since I use the chargers in this garage near my apartment, sometimes they are being used and I cannot charge.  What happens if one night I cannot charge my car, then how do I get to work?

Well, now that unemployment has ended I am short on my bills and already received an eviction notice last month.  Luckily enough, I made enough to cover my rent, to prevent any further activity towards being homeless.  This month, I am, however, short for all my bills and do not know what I will do.

I did have a job interview yesterday, that was the 2nd for this employer but I do not think it went too well.

This weekend, I am even doing a medical study for some money.  I am doing a lot of little things for money but it is not enough.

I hate having to do this.  Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.  Much love to all of you.

This pandemic has been difficult on me. I am thinking about getting a part time job in retail to help pay the bills until I get a good full time job again. The reason I don't want to take a full time job in retail is because it a) will not be enough to pay for all the bills (especially my student loan debt and the rent payments) and I feel if I am working full time their it would reduce my ability to look for and interview for better positions. It would be a huge pay cut compared to what I have always made.
