Bernard worked on the family farm nearly all of his life. The family said that he went to check on the cow at 3 am and later in the morning they found his body by the river close to Gina's house. They're not sure what the cause of death was. Either a stroke or heart attack. Bernard was Gina's oldest and most favorite Brother and he was a Christian man. A believer in the Almighty. Our faith tells us that Bernard is now with Jesus who is our salvation. We know that he is with the Lord, which gives Gina and her family assurance they will be meeting again. 2 Corinthians 5:8 does say to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.
