Hi! My name is Dabria Aguilar and I am raising money for the Miss America Foundation as a part of the Miss America's Outstanding Teen 2021 competition. Did you know this is the 100th year of Miss America?
The Miss America Organization’s mission is to prepare great women for the world, and to prepare the world for great women. One of the ways they do that is by providing scholarships—from the national competition, all the way to our local communities. The Miss America Organization donates over $200,000 in cash scholarships annually and this summer Miss South Carolina 2021 will be awarded $60,000 along the the Miss South Carolina Teen 2021 receiving $10,000!
This organization not only gives me, but many other girls the opportunity to act on social issues we are all passionate about. My social impact initiative is “Make Everybody Feel like Somebody” which focuses on the importance of seeing beneath the appearance of an individual whether that be disability, race, illness ect. and showing them they’re worthy for exactly who they are. With the Miss America Organization, I am granted the resources to bring light to this issue and do my part to make a difference and MAKE EVERYBODY FEEL LIKE SOMEBODY!
I ask that you take the time to donate towards such an influential organization and share this post!! No donation is too small!
