Help Fredrick: A Brother’s Fight for Justice
My name is Kimberly Kiser, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart and a hopeful heart at the same time. My brother, Fredrick, has spent a large part of his life fighting for his freedom and for a future he deserves.
Fredrick was falsely accused of aggravated robbery. He has maintained his innocence throughout a long and painful process.
He served 21 years in prison and during that time, he held onto hope, studied, and grew into a man who believed in redemption.
Since his release, he has worked hard to rebuild his life: he found a job, built a family, and welcomed his newborn son. He has been striving to be a positive presence in our community and to honor the second chance he was given.
Today, Fredrick is back in a difficult position: he needs an attorney to fight for his freedom and to pursue the truth that he has always deserved. The legal team estimates the cost of a rigorous defense at $15,000. We are asking for help to cover this essential amount so he can have the representation he needs to clear his name and secure his future for his wife, child, and himself.
What the funds will cover:
Legal fees for movement on his case, including investigation, filing, and court appearances
Expert consultations if needed
Administrative costs to keep the defense moving forward
Why your support matters:
Fredrick’s story is a reminder that justice is not a guaranteed outcome, but a fight worth supporting. He is a Black man who has fought to reform, to be a good husband, a devoted father, and a contributing member of his community.
A successful defense could restore his life and safety for his family, and protect other innocent people who might be at risk of being mischaracterized in the system.
If you can contribute, any amount helps and will go directly toward covering his legal defense. If you can’t donate, sharing this message with friends, family, and your networks would mean the world to us.
Thank you for taking the time to read Fredrick’s story. We are grateful for any support and for the compassion that keeps hope alive in the face of injustice.
With gratitude,
His Loving Family
