It'll be Clarissa's second youth camp experience this year! Last year was KODA Camp Midwest in Wisconsin. At that time. We took a round trip to drop off and return home the same day 8-10 hr round trip).
She's currently registered (payments pending) for Camp Mark 7 at Old Forge, NY.
Camp Mark 7 is a widely known around the world for decades throughout the Deaf/Hard-of-Hearing and KODA community! The majority of experienced campers that I've met LOVES this place, they're still deeply connected to CM7 and their camping peers. Memories have stayed with them for a lifetime. Unlike the trip to Wisconsin, it'll be more than 10 hours one way to get to CM7 and another of those hours on the way back home. As for that, I need help with finalizing camp payments (due July 1st, 2022), gas (price jumped AFTER registration completed), maybe tolls, and will need to lodge through the week. Then there's gas and possibly more tolls on the way back home.
For a safe driving trip, we may need to pull off the road for lodging.
