Dear friends and family,
I am humbled by the support already provided by loved ones and the bonding that has come from the excitement of preparing for Miss America. It is truly abundant in the aspects that matter most - friendships, joy, and memories.
The costs of personal expenditures associated with being Miss Rhode Island have been far greater than expected between routine flights from school to Rhode Island, alterations, evening gown purchases, and more. If you are able to contribute to this fundraising effort, as a recent graduate, some stress would be alleviated allowing loved ones and me to enjoy these memories of preparation a bit more stress free.
