Hi, my name is JoyL. My son Elijah and his girlfriend of over 3 years, Aile were tragically caught in a crossfire of a gang shooting as they were just going to get McDonald’s. Aile, 18 years old took multiple gun shots to her young body. Unfortunately one of the bullets hit her spine and instantly paralyzed her. Ending the life she knows in a split second. While rushing her to ER my sons car was ruined and also now has bullet holes in it. Our family is asking for any financial help to get us all thru this situation, as Aile and Elijah can not currently work, and our family needs help to get by while caring for her and being by her side in the hospital. We have decided me and my  will be caring for Aile when she returns home. We would like to raise enough money for Elijah to get a mini van to easily get Aile in and out of the vehicle easily, we would like to raise money to get them a new apartment that is wheelchair accessible, and work on preparing her for the new life she is to face. Aile and Elijah are innocent victims of this senseless gun violence. We have to get justice for them. We are asking for any financial relief for our family, even a small amount goes a long way. Prayers are needed as well. Thank you all for caring and taking the time to help out our family during this difficult time. This has to stop.
