January 17, 2021 Hello Everyone,
I know two people who live a modest life that have been married for over 30 years. They have raised four children, two girls and two boys. Through the years, they have struggled like most people to provide for their family in good times and bad. Their names are Molly and Les Shaw. They live outside of Dallas. Molly recently found she has breast cancer and her insurance is not good enough to pay for the full amount of her chemo treatments. Les has not worked in a while. He worked in the oilfield until work began to drastically slow down. They have kept up a minimal amount of insurance, but not enough to cover the majority of the extensive chemo treatment.
If you are like me, I don't like anyone to feel alone, sad, or feel like life's hurdles are too much. Life is Good!! With the help of the community, we can raise $10,000 for Molly and Les as a faith, hope, and love gift to help cover the initial high cost of providing chemotherapy. All the costs are still being added. Yet--at this point in their struggle, I believe that hope is the all-powerful glue that can keep them thriving through the cancer diagnosis and treatment. Your offering of hope of $10, $20 or $50 to support Molly and Les is greatly appreciated.
Sincerely yours, David R. Siller
