It's our two year podcast anniversary! To celebrate and support one of our favorite and most impactful local non profits, we are raising funds for Milwaukee Crime Stoppers. Crime Stoppers is a charitable organization separate from any law enforcement agency that is governed and operated by community volunteers. It encourages members of the community to submit anonymous tips to help solve crime. The organization works to help local law enforcement agencies to fight crime by overcoming two key elements that inhibit community involvement in solving unsolved crimes--fear and apathy. Callers remain anonymous and are eligible to receive a cash reward if the information given leads to the arrest or indictment of a felony offender. The Milwaukee group was established in 2019 and since then has made 43 arrests and cleared 17 cases. With crime rates in Milwaukee soaring, more funds are needed to run this organization and get offenders off of our streets.
