In September 2021 my mom, Penny Estrada contracted COVID -19. On September 25th she was lifeflighted to a hospital* that is better able to provide the care she needs to battle this virus. She has COVID pnemonia and is on oxygen and a cocktail of drugs to help in her healing. Her prognosis is good and she is stable but it is a long slow processes for her to be well enough to go home.
It's unclear how long she will be in the hospital and will need care when she returns home. I am going to return home with her until we feel she is well enough to resume her independence. All money will be used to help with medical bills and care after she leaves the hospital.
