Hi everyone!
I’m so excited to share that I’ve officially decided to compete for the title of Miss Racine 2026! 👑
As part of the Miss America Organization, each candidate creates a Community Service Initiative, a platform that represents what they stand for. Mine is called “Empowered to Lead.”
This initiative is deeply personal to me because it was inspired by my younger self. Growing up, I was self-conscious, insecure, and unsure of who I was or who I wanted to be. When I made the decision to return to school and pursue higher education at a non-traditional age, I promised myself I would give it everything I had, to become not only a well-rounded student, but also a stronger and more confident version of myself.
Through hard work, determination, sacrifice, and faith, I earned my Associate’s Degree and am now continuing my journey toward my Bachelor’s. For a long time, I accepted failure as my only option. I never stopped to ask myself, “Who am I, and where do I want to go?”
During my time in school, one professor saw potential in me that I couldn’t yet see in myself. Their encouragement gave me the confidence to step into leadership roles and discover that being a leader isn’t about titles... it’s about knowing who you are and showing up every single day.
By celebrating the small wins, I’ve learned to find motivation in progress, not perfection. Competing for Miss Racine is an opportunity for me to continue growing while empowering others to realize that they already have everything they need within themselves to be great leaders and kindhearted individuals.
