Christian battled stage 3 Hodgkin  lymphoma 3 years ago. He is now fighting for his life after suffering a traumatic brain injury causing him to go in to a coma due to the swelling on his brain and being placed on life support, he is also missing half of his skull (back). Christian was considered a DOA, but his Heavenly Father intervened . Christian has regained some consciousness, but remains in a vegetative state. Due to government insurance he does not qualify for OT/PT he very much needs to be rehabilitated in order to have a fighting chance at a regular life again. The option I was provided with was: placing him in a nursing home. I have been a nurse for greater than 30 years and if I am going to be transparent I have to say I will die before I place my son in a nursing home.  We will need a generator -generic installed in the event of a power outage and a reclining chair for stroke patients to aid In getting him to bed or allowing him to sit up for physical therapy. Nurses in a nursing home typically have 20-35 patients they are responsible for . I will provide better care to my son 1:1  strictly surrounded by love . If it kills me I will nurture my son back to health with the blessings of his Heavenly Father and those heart guided by the Holy Spirit to help Christian fight for his life and be restored whole and healthy.Please keep the prayers going🙏🏽please share our story.
