Hi everyone, thanks for stopping by to hear our story, and our need for your support. We are homeless, and this beautiful animal is THE LOVE OF MY LIFE today. He has become my Everything since he came into my life on Aug.6, 2016. I was alone, scared and living on the streets when I needed him the most for a friend, companion,and for my safety and today he is FAMILY. SPIRIT WARRIOR I named him that day, and despite the rough life he has had with me, he is every bit of a warrior in all senses. He was diagnosed with Cushing's Syndrome, in which there is no cure, and expectancy is reaching it's maximum soon I am afraid. My biggest fear is that he will die without having a home to rest, in his final days. I've been working hard to see that this will not happen, and have made progress by receiving an Emergency Housing Voucher for a 1 bedroom apartment, which will expire and We would lose this opportunity if it is not used by October 26, 2022. I don't have the money for the security deposit, the utility deposits, some used furnishings to make it a home, and hired help to put this all together .With the cost of everything beyond expensive today it just won't happen for us, so I am reaching out to the good people in this world who may be able to make this happen for us and in time for the Holidays fast approaching. As you see I am running out of time . I have contacted every non profit and referral given to me and what I've found myself online, but nothing has been available to us. I am a 55 year old disabled widow with my only income being general relief from Social Services & food stamps. Both being so little, in this high cost economy today, makes it impossible to save any of it. I'm desperate to have a home for us both and for Spirit to get some much needed rest and comforts of a home, before he leaves me to rest in final peace. I'm am reaching out to you all in hopes of your generosity and heart felt wishes to make this Hope become a Home for us before it's too late. God has given me Faith there are still good people out there with a good heart and compassion that want to help someone in need. We sure need your support today.
