Hey there, my name is Caroline and I'm South Dakota's Miss Railroad Junction Teen and I need your help! One of the amazing things about being a part of the Miss America's Teen program is the opportunity to raise money for scholarships. Your donations are one way for me to do just that!
I'm a few short years away from beginning my own college experience as currently I am finishing up my Freshman year of high school as an honors student at Central High School. I have recently chosen the Performing Arts Pathway in order to prepare myself for college by taking a curriculum focused on my goals of attending a BFA program for musical theater. I'm very involved in my school choir, the theater program and student council and I love to volunteer in my community as often as possible.
I recently created a non-profit LLC titled "The Hilltop... I Think WE Can!" as a way to utilize teenage voices to create more awareness for adolescent anxiety in our community. The name combines imagery from my favorite poem "Up-Hill" written by Christina Rosetti, and my favorite children's book "The Little Engine That Could" written by Watty Piper. Both the poem and the book have inspired me to climb higher and overcome obstacles on my life's journey.
I hope you will join me in my campaign to raise scholarship funds for all of the incredible young women using their gifts through the Miss America's Teen pageant. I would love your donation and I would love you to share my message! Thank you for all of your support!
All scholarships are paid directly to higher learning institutions and are 100% tax deductible.
