Hi everyone, it's really nice to say hello. I am in dire need to pay off the remaining balance for my son's tuition. Some time ago I moved with my now ex to an area where the public school was not the best. We knew this from the start but the proximity to my ex's new job made the decision to live in this area possible. The idea was that it would be temporary, and we would return to our previous location only after a few years. At the time, the sacrifice seemed to be worth it. Now after the divorce we still live here. This is due in accordance with the custody agreement.
Unfortunately, within a couple months of starting the school year, my ex abruptly stopped paying for his portion of the tuition, which accounted for 67% of the tuition. He did not give a reason. I have tried to make up the difference, but I was unable to pay it off by the end of this past school year. I have discussed the situation with the school, and they have been extremely accommodating. They have given me extension after extension. However, the new school year is quickly approaching, and I must pay off the remaining balance for the last school year, so I register him into regular school. The school will not release my son's grades and transcript until my debt is paid in full. I am hoping that the generosity from the online community will help with paying off what is left on the account.
Thank you,
From a desperate mother
