THE STORY
Ouma's mother taught him that if we care for others, we will be blessed in Heaven. Ouma, his mother, and 10 widows are caring for 50 orphans in Bugiri, Uganda. Ouma is a rice farmer. They were given an opportunity to purchase a parcel of land for $3,000 that will safeguard the orphans and build an Orphanage. Ouma and the women make a small ncome from rice farming. We raised enough funds for school supplies, which sent the children back to school in June, and to purchase the land!
The Orphanage was consecrated to Mary, the Mother of Jesus.
"For behold, from henceforth, all generations shall call me Blessed; for He that is Mighty has done Great things to me and Holy is His Name." (Luke 1:46-55)
Now we begin to build the Orphanage home. We will be starting an NGO called Mary's Orphanage.
I am a Franciscan brother who is helping them to turn their dream into a reality. Please help us 🙏🏼🌹
