Teaching our kids healthy habits is important. According to the President's Council on Fitness, Sports & Nutrition, about 17% of U.S. children and adolescents are obese.

The California-based Fit Kids Foundation works to promote a healthy, active lifestyle among children in underserved communities through youth fitness programs.
