I learned that my son's Spanish and math teacher's vehicle was stolen today, complete with funds for his November 3rd field trip to the aquarium. Knowing the inconvenience, the sense of violation, and sheer heartbreak involved, I am working to raise the stolen $270 for the field trip along with a $5,000 down payment for another vehicle.
Though this comes the same week as our annual Colorado International Language Academy Fun Run, I am confident that together, the CILA community, along with family and friends can meet or exceed this goal by simply sharing or donating anything you can spare. Remember, every dollar moves us toward our goal to replace those lost field trip funds and to help Mrs. Santiago replace her vehicle.
