Sandhill Forest School Scholarship Fund
Sandhill Forest School is a nature-based preschool and homeschool enrichment program located within the Howell Nature Center and serving 3-10 year olds.
Our program focuses on a core set of skills and routines that teach mindfulness practices, scientific inquiry, outdoor skills and teamwork and nurture the imagination through student-led play, emergent learning and storytelling. We do this, all while encouraging and guiding students to have a compassionate and deep relationship with the natural world.
We are just about to celebrate our fourth year of business in the Livingston County community, and we feel that our teachings could be beneficial to so many more kiddos, if we could just reach more families! Social-emotional growth, a love of learning and a connection to nature at a younger age will be nothing but beneficial as they develop. These life lessons help to instill patience, perseverance, confidence, critical thinking skills and so much more.Ā
This is where you come in! We are looking for and individuals and businesses that would like to help financially support families that would like to participate in our school, but may not have the income at this time.
We will be forever grateful for anything that you may be willing and able to donate. ALL proceeds will be used to cover some or all of the tuition of individual families, depending on their need.Ā
I have created an initial monetary goal, but Iām hoping to build this scholarship into our school permanently.Ā
Thank you so much for reading this far and for any help that you are able to provide! I love our close-knit community so much!
Warmly,Ā
Bethany KeskitaloĀ
