long story short: i need to be out of this house this week and i have nothing cuz im sick... i gave attempted fundraising before/in the meantimes and my time is just running out....
after my son was born i had galbladder issues in the form of gastroperesis that were misdisgnosed and left me helpless and unable to work. in 18 months ive lost 150 pounds (now under 200). ive finally had the galbladder out september 13th and things seem to be going better but our lives have been shattered by the process. my healing/downtime is 4 weeks, im aslo starting physical therapy bevause this process has deconditioned me so much...
my husband drained his saving and stocks to take care of me and our newborn, i have been and still am unable to work until next year after physical therapy/surgical recovery and we need to be out of this house.
we live with my parents, theyre hoarders and its difficult to live with them, we have cleaned and try to keep it clean but they are pushing 70 and are pushing us out, even though i need their help watching the baby after surgery they've been extremely difficult and after a fight this morning with them where my mother tried to physically intimade me, im skipping my last week of medical healing, selling my car off, selling every asset i have and trying to get us into an RV this weekend.
its just not okay being here anymore. i need help, we need help. my hubby is newly emoloyed and trying to get out of the debt he's gotten into saving us, i am living off ssi but waiting to use my hair license to get a job, im just sick and we can't live here while we save up, time has just run out.
frankly i dont know if the hubby and i will end up together or not. i need a housing alternative that isn't rent because i cant afford it on my own. an RV is the only thing that makes sense to me. i can park it somewhere for a couple thousand a year and once i get a good down payment on it i can qualify for month payments towards it to the tune of about $500 at worst. if i am able to afford an apartment or home i will be able to sell off the RV,
ive done the math, it beats buying a small mobile home that will undoubtedly need work, or paying rent, i do not qualify for a first time homebuyers loan because i havent been working, i need a place to live with my son possibly alone and i needed a place like a year ago...
our plan was to work our bums off before he was 2 and be out of here, but because I've been sick and my healing process is longer than anticipated we're kind of stuck and im really hoping people will help us out...
i am selling my car and downgrading. im going to attempt to sell my family heirloom iranian carpet to a local rug guy, but im not so sure he'll buy it, it has a few thousand dollars worth of value. i am going to bust my bum selling everything i have, old clothes, downgrading and saving without being able to work. im going to push my body beyond the limits i should be this week, because i should be healing and resting and i dont have that option anymore.
please help us out. we will pay it forward when we are able to. we are not permanently poor, we just got off on a bad foot for having a baby. we are not a bottomless pit of need, i want very much to get off ssi entirely and work, i just am unable to and im very behind. my boy needs space to run, and learn and grow, we dont have it here and its clear we will not get the help we need from living here. please help us out, share on social media if youre unable to donate it would mean the world to us.
