My name is Peggy. I live by myself and I recently fell and shattered my hip, where I had to have surgery. The first hospital I went to, cut me open and was unable to do the surgery so they sowed me up and sent me to another hospital. After surgery they sent me to a nursing home for physical therapy where they left me in the bed did not do the proper therapy, my incesion got really bad infected, they sent me back to the hospital where I had to have a third surgery due to the infection. They sent me back to a rehab center where I stayed for two weeks and had to leave because Medicaid would not pay any longer. Medicaid sends out therapist twice a week however they do not even attempt to try to help me walk. I am trying to raise enough money just to hire a private physical therapist to get back on my feet.
