Hello there! My name is Alicia! I'm currently only 4 classes and one internship away from earning my bachelors degree from The Pennsylvania College of Technology! In 2018, I obtained an associates degree in Eary Childhood Education from the same college. I decided to be a stay at home mom, however, for many reasons. Child care is EXPENSIVE first of all! But, being in the early education feild, I also know how important the early years are and I didn't want to miss out on any of it! I'm now a mother of 3 children. My two daughters are 5 and 2 years and my son is 7 months. Being a mother is what I was made for. It's what I'm good at and my children are my world. All I want is to give them a beautiful life and someone to look up to. I decided to go back to school in 2020 for my bachelors in Human Services and Restorative Justice. I love working with children in a classroom setting, however, I decided I wanted to be apart of making a change elsewhere with children and their families. I want to do case work/management and counseling with mothers directly. That is why I'm working towards my bachelors in Human Services. I have 4 classes (15 credits) and then I'll have my bachelors degree finally! My financial aide has been exhausted. I've used my lifetime limit and am no longer eligible to receive government funding for school unfortunately! I'm way too close to give up now! π
