My little family got hit hard by the pandemic and I've officially run out of options.  I am a single Mom with sole physical and legal custody, and I do not receive child or government support.  After 7 years with my company, I was furloughed in mid-May and received unemployment until I was laid off in September.  I received a small severance package that has put my unemployment into a queu for a judge to review, but the system is backed up many months so I have not been able to receive unemployment payments since mid-September.  I also had to cover a big-ticket car repair and paid cash for prescription drugs when my insurance was cancelled by my last employer earlier than agreed, so the severance has dried up quickly.  

I did recently accept a job three weeks ago, but a lab error on my pre-employment background pushed my start date, and subsequently my first pay check, back by two weeks that I hadn't budgeted for.  All of this has just been one too many bumps in the road, and it has left me in a bind.  I don't qualify for short term loans because I haven't yet received a pay stub, and just need a little help to keep food on the table and gas in the car, and cover the bills that I was unable to delay.  I will absolutely pay any donations back or forward when I am back on my feet!
