My story comes from a place that I NEVER thought that I would be in...I have experienced domestic violence, threats to life with a weapon. When that was addressed, everything began to unravel in my life. I have been paying on a home for the last 8 years that was not in my name. My kids and I are now losing our home in the divorce and have to be out by July 1st. I have YET to see anything out of this, so I am struggling to find housing, work two jobs, be supportive for my kids, pay current bills, but put away money for a new place to live with my kids and our pets. I have a hard time swallowing my pride and asking anyone for anything, so this was a VERY hard thing to finally give in and ask. I love to help others, I just simply can't right now...I am the one in need...My kids and myself are desperate at this point. I have found a house that I can get into if I can come up with money down. It is a contract for deed and would help us move forward from this situation. The home needs a few minor repairs as well, so that is why I am asking for $800. ***WE ARE DOWN TO NEEDING $800 for cleaning supplies and minor repair items, PLEASE HELP US CROSS THE FINISH LINE!!
