This is my little brother Jose Rodriguez. He is 14 years old and he is a good kid; everyday after school he would enjoy going to the library to study and hangout with his friends. He always wanted to make his mom proud and always made it known he wanted to attend college in his future. May 18th the police came knocking to the door while he was asleep, Jose didn’t hear them knocking and couldn’t answer the door. When Jose woke up and went outside to the swarm of cops he was told to put his hands up because he was getting put under arrest. When Jose asked why he was getting arrested the police wouldn’t tell him. Later on that day our mom got a call saying Jose is being charged with attempted murder. Jose is a good kid and would never do anything like that. He is in juvenile detention right now for something he didn’t do, the police have 0 evidence to prove it was him but are still holding him there. It’s so unfortunate that we will have to pay so much money for a crime he didn’t commit we are asking for donations to help us pay his bond out and also afford a lawyer for him. Anything helps.
