I left everything I knew in Scotland to come here and marry the woman I thought I'd be with for the rest of my life. I did everything for her kept our home cleaned and went through several surgeries that she had to have. She had 3 amputations of her toes lost to diabetes and I was there when she had to have a hysterectomy. I was her sole care and I even took care of her 90 plus year old mother.
She decided she no longer needed me and she didn't want to continue our marriage after I kept trying to save it. Her brother came into her mother's house and told me to leave or he would kill me her mother wanted me to stay there until I got back on my feet. I had to leave and was on the streets when a friend who had heard everything that was said came to my aid and came to get me out of the town where they were.
I have made it to Florida but I have no ID no money and I want to work but can't because I've got no identification and can't get any to get a job to get the money to cover my passport and my visa fees. I am really in desperate need of help and I am asking for any help I can get. I've contracted the British embassy and immigration both but they can offer no help except to tell me to reapply for my passport and that it will take 6 weeks to get it if approved. I want to stay here and live here please help me raise the funds for my papers to get my passport back and then I can go to work and get off the streets .
