My platform, Play & Preserve, is about taking care of the places where we play. Many playgrounds in Alaska are affected by litter, damage, and neglect, and that can make them unsafe or unwelcoming for kids and families. I want to help change that. Through Play & Preserve, I organize clean-up days, encourage others to take care of their local play spaces, and spread awareness about how important it is to keep our outdoor areas clean and safe.
I believe that when we care for the places we play, we also care for our earth and our communities. Every small act, picking up trash, respecting the equipment, or joining a clean-up, makes a big difference. My goal is to help create play spaces that are clean, healthy, and joyful for everyone.
