Hello! We are the Griswolds;
Much like the many jokes we hear this time of year due to our surname, it's been pretty crazy. It's been tough all around. After every quarentine order things just get tighter. It's been a struggle but we've been keeping our heads above water, trying to hold on to everything that we've worked so hard to rebuild. We've overhauled our budget and cut out all non- essential bills, but nothing could've prepared us emotionally or financially for this setback. The day after Christmas, David was in a pretty scary car accident. He was very fortunate to walk away from the scene banged up but whole. The vehicle on the other hand, is beyond repair. Now we have to get another vehicle under us to keep us going. We have insurance, and we shouldn't have any trouble getting into another vehicle to replace the totaled one. However, the deductible will have to be paid first. It will break us. We are down to choosing between essential bills and the deductible, which is essential as well unfortunately. I'm looking into all of the options I can find but there is only so much help to be found right now. With funding being so limited everywhere during this time of hardship, I am being as proactive as I can to make money from home by selling baked goods online as well. If you feel you want to contribute, we appreciate anything! Even if its just a teeny 10 cents! LoL I also want to give a shoutout to our little community here, when the accident occurred, our neighbors all worked together to re-unite us and also get David home safe! I'm so happy to have found such wonderful neighbors! I count myself truly blessed, even through the hardships!
