Sebastian "Bash" Cole is a 2-year-old toddler with Down Syndrome who was diagnosed with leukemia, and is dealing with other health issues as a result of his weakened immune system. Bash's mother (Lindsey) requested extended time off to help care for Bash and take him to his appointments, and lost her job as a result. Bash's father (Kevin) took up a second job to help cover the medical bills on top of the lost income from Lindsey, but was unexpectedly admitted to the ER for heart problems.
