My son, Rhys, is 16 years old. We are so fortunate to have such a kind, loving son. He is a rule follower to the core and has never been in trouble.
Rhys has always wanted to take a vacation, any vacation and only ventured outside our home state for his 8th grade class trip to DC.
For almost Rhys' entire childhood we had to care for his uncle until his passing in Dec 2020 which limited what we could do.
Right before his uncle passed I began having health issues and ended up having 3 surgeries in 2021. I tried to go back to work in late 21 but it didn't work out and have had to retire early with a limited income.
Rhys has always wanted to take a route 66 car trip and see parts of the country along with either Yellowstone or Yosemite parks.
I would love to be able to take Rhys on this trip and not keep saying "maybe someday".
Really, he would be happy with any trip but I would like to be able to give him this one.
