Hi friends and family!
We are Cohort 16 of the dental hygiene program at Concorde in Aurora! We graduate this coming February and we are ecstatic. We have become a family and anytime anybody needs anything, we come together and help. This time, our combined help is not enough.
A few weeks ago, our classmate Rachael ran into some bad luck. She is a single mother of 2 sweet boys and is in this very intense program so that she can build a better future for her sons (and herself, but she only thinks of her children). Most of us have all the support in the world from our families to make it through the last 7 months of our program but this is simply not the case for Rachael. Without getting into too many details, she has found herself and her boys to be homeless and moves around from shelter to shelter. She is driving about 3-4 hours every single day, wondering how she will be able to afford anything with gas prices being so high, but she somehow still manages to keep her grades up and shows up everyday with a smile.
Our friend needs help and if you have a little bit to spare (even just a dollar), please consider donating to a hardworking mom who is really trying to get out of an unfortunate situation. If you are unable to donate, we completely understand and appreciate you reading this (and sharing if possible).
Please help us, help her!
Thank you so much
Cohort 16
