ESMU is a non-profit youth environmental organization that aims to create affordable and high-quality ecological education for Ukrainian youth, regardless of social status or location.
We are a young generation of Ukrainians, who want to see Ukrainian youth enriched with awareness about modern ecology and sustainability. We are striving to achieve our goal with formal and informal educational projects and create content for the development of the young community.
We work to convey the importance and ease of modern environmental life by creating an ethical info-chatbot called "TurBOTa" (from Ukrainian "care").
Every day hundreds of animals die because of animal testing of cosmetics. Aware of the poor ethical consumption culture in Ukraine, we created it to help users check the brand’s cruelty-free and vegan status and make product recommendations based on user search.
We have reached 2,000 users and 500 certified brands in our database, and are working on the Google Chrome extension so that users can easily shop online and look for cruelty-free brands simultaneously.
Today, we need every dollar to keep our bot going because even though we are volunteers, the very presence of our bot online requires host fees on the server.
