I took in a couple who was struggling and gave them their first place away from family. It was mutually beneficial because I struggle to afford the fairly reasonably priced rent on my own. They became belligerent and abusive shortly after moving in, but I held out hope that it would get better. It continued to go down hill and they made the decision to move out at the last minute leaving me now struggling to make ends meet on the income I receive from SSI as someone who is disabled. I'm working on finding other solutions, but everything I've tried thus far has fallen through. All the funds that were allocated to my county have been used up. If I lose this place, I will be homeless as I can't afford anything else without further assistance that is currently out of reach. Please help me have a couple months respite while I figure out what to do from this position without worrying about eviction.
